Zenith wins diversity and inclusion award
Zenith, the UK’s leading independent leasing, fleet management and vehicle outsourcing business, is celebrating today after picking up an award for its leading diversity and inclusion programme.
The company, which was also shortlisted in the Sustainability and Large Business of the Year categories at the Yorkshire Post Excellence in Business Awards, fended off tough competition from four other businesses to pick up the Diversity and Inclusion Award, with judges commending the work Zenith’s focus groups have done to promote a diverse and inclusive workplace.
Stuart Price, Chief People Officer at Zenith said:
“From introducing our six focus groups and holding our first diversity month, to putting every leader through an emotional education programme, building a culture of conscious inclusion is a key priority for Zenith. We’ve worked hard to ensure each colleague feels represented and can be their true and authentic selves at work. I’m over the moon that this has been recognised and so proud of the work that has been done so far.”
“We know we still have a long way to go to achieve our ambitious diversity and inclusion goals, but this award has shown that we’re making huge steps in the right direction. I’m excited to continue to work with our colleagues and keep building on our now award-winning diversity and inclusion programme to help create an organisation that truly represents the customers and communities it serves.”
