A team from Zenith has visited a Leeds school to inspire young people to pursue a career in the automotive industry.
Zenith visited the Crawshaw Academy school careers fair in Pudsey and talked to students from a range of years about the opportunities available in the industry.
Commenting on the initiative Marisa Waddington, hr director at Zenith said: “The contract hire and leasing sector has a wide range of careers available from customer service to finance and marketing. As we continue to grow and thrive in Leeds, we want to inspire the next generation of talent. We ask our apprentices to think about career aspirations and think differently. Our apprenticeship programme is very interactive, involving not just on the job training but also social activities.”
The school visit formed part of a week of activities to support National Apprenticeship Week. Zenith also exhibited at the Leeds Apprenticeship Recruitment Fair and offered current apprentices the chance to be a director for the day.
